The glass dome has a more grey tone to the glass - rather then being crystal clear - this grey tone is often found in Vasart weights.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is no maker's cane to be seen in this weight, and again this is consistent with what you might find in Vasart examples.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is an attractive burnt orange ground, into which the millefiori canes are placed. This is a pontil mark on the base - and the base has been subsequently polished - and there are little signs of wear (it comes from my own collection!)  - where the weight has been picked up and put back down over the years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is a central scarlet red cane surrounded by a Royal blue and white rosette.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are 7 ribbon latticino canes - with pink, pale blue and peppermint green millefiori canes in each section.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe diameter at the widest point is 3 inches and the height is just over 2 1\/2 inches. Weight unpacked it 530 grams. So a large example - I have personally owned this and had it on display at home for many years - so it is in very good condition. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNo damages or scratches to the glass. Fair price for this fine vintage paperweight.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePostage will be with Royal Mail Tracked (Small Parcel) Postage.
