It was designed in 1956 by Erik Herlow, who was the chief designer at the Royal Copenhagen ceramic works. It remains a much sought after and iconic piece of mid-century Scandinavian design. The flatware is made from 12-12 stainless steel (the highest quality) and 12% nickel and 12% chromium and has a brushed satin finish.

My sets are particularily sought after as they are unusued and come with their attractive, original 1950s card retail box. I love the Inka logo on each box - the colours are also very mid-century. You do not see the sets in these boxes very often.

This is a box of Teaspoons. All in perfect, unused condition. I have taken a lot of image for your inspection. They are a harder item to find in this series.

Dimensions: The length of the teaspoon is 5 1/4 inches. The box is 6 x 3 1/4 x 1 inches.

HISTORY: The production of Norstaal cutlery started in 1947, in Bergen, Norway. At that time the Company was known as Norsk Stalpress. The trade name was changed to Norstaal in 1990. Their designs are in the collection of internation museums of applied arts and design. The clean, contempory lines were admired and were often closely copied by other manufacturers. Norstaal was sold to Stelton in 2007 and modern versions of the various cutlery designs are still produced under the name Stelton Norstaal, although the composition of the steel is now very different. My sets are the original ones produced in Bergen in the 50s.

The cutlery will be posted to you with Royal Mail Tracked Post. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0271/1902/6240/files/06022026_0178_0d346f0b-c6eb-46d9-8aff-725e30e69a63.jpg?v=1770663927
https://www.iconicedinburgh.co.uk/products/vintage-1950s-norwegian-norstaal-inka-brushed-stainless-steel-cutlery-6-teaspoons-copy
