{"product_id":"vintage-1950s-vasart-paperweight-inside-chunky-pin-dish-or-small-bowl","title":"1950s Vasart Glass Paperweight Inserted Inside the Base of a Chunky Pin Dish or Small  Bowl","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis is a lovely little mid-century piece of Scottish Glass by Vasart \/ Pirelli (but missing its original paper label).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt dates to the 1950s and contains a flattened paperweight in the base of the dish. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe base section is of typical Vasart form and consists of a carpet of conjoined canes - all the millefiori canes in the dish are seem to be different. They are set into a white mottled ground and all cased in thick clear glass. The interior of the dish is slightly domed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe base has a typical unpolished pontil mark seen on vintage Vasart weights.  This little dish is in excellent condition with no damages. It is quite a substantial one - with a thick clear glass raised edge all around the central weight section. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions: The dimensions of the little dish or bowl is 3 1\/4 inches in diameter and the height is 1 1\/2 inches.
