It still has its original rose coloured cake of pressed powder inside. I am leaving that in there - but it is easy for you to remove if you do not want to keep it. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe main body is gold-tone - and the top of the lid has a pretty petit point needlecraft design. The textile is covered with a clear plastic cover (original to the compact) to keep the material nice and clean underneath. The image is inspired by a Chinese landscape. We have a little building on the side of a riverbank and to the side of it is a cherry tree with pink blossom. More flowers are stitched to the foreground.   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe base of the compact has an engine turned pattern - this is nice and shiny. There are no marks on it - but my image of it looks like it has a dent - this is not there; it is a reflection from the shiny metal. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe mirror inside the lid is clean and without marks or spots on the surface.
