The colour on the ceiling disk or rose - matches the decorative metal caps or holders which hold the shades on and allows the cable to pass through into the glass shade section. I have taken lots of photographs for your inspection.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"simple-format-listing-short-delivery-text\"\u003eThere are three shades - all of which hang at different heights - again as photographed.   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"simple-format-listing-short-delivery-text\"\u003eThe shades with made of a fine opaque milk glass - which graduates to clear glass at the bottom. Inside each milky shade are little coloured details made of amber glass. The shades are said to have been inspired by flower heads and petals. Some people have also comically nicknamed them: Frying Egg Lamps! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"simple-format-listing-short-delivery-text\"\u003eThe light fitting dates to the 1970s and originated in Italy.
