It was made by Caithness Glass on behalf of Edinburgh Crystal.    \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt has a little E cane (for Edinburgh Crystal) on the millefiori ring border on the dark blue \/ black ground.   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe weight has a dark blue, nearly black ground and has a polished base. There is no lettering etc on the base of the paperweight.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe edge of the weight is embellished with a decorative pattern forming a ring of tiny millefiori canes. In the centre is a flower head with pale pink and lilac petals. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is in perfect condition with no damage of any kind. There are a couple of white marks in my photographs - these are not blemishes on the paperweight but are reflections from the glass. There are a couple of tiny air bubbles within the clear glass of the crown. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions: The height is 2 3\/4 inches and the width at the widest point is 2 1\/4 inches.  The weight unpacked is 440 grams\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese weights made for Edinburgh Crystal are really fine quality ones and today are not so easy to source.
