They have probably been a wedding present that has been packed up in their original presentation box and stored away for a long time.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe old box is quite handy for this set if you wish to keep them packed away safely when not in use and brought out for more formal dining or celebrations. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI had two matching sets on offer in my store. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is the now-discontinued Richmond pattern. The bowl is decorated with large stars between tall engraved batons. The stem is squat and faceted all around. The foot has an engraved star motif. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe foot of each glass is also with an etched Stuart mark - and its original paper label, as photographed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDimensions: Height is 6 1\/2 inches. The diameter of the rim is just under 3 1\/4 inches - and the foot is just under 3 inches. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll my glasses are in excellent condition with no damages - the presentation box is generally fine - the hinges at the back are a little loose (the only condition issue). The exterior of the box is a grey colour and it is nice and clean. The interior has a lilac silk-lined lid with a printed Stuart Crystal mark on the silk.
