This is a vintage Bidri Metal Figure of a pretty Indian lady.
Bidri metal items are made in the Bidar region of India. They use metal to make the figures which is a blackened alloy of zinc and copper - and then with all the fine details inlaid with thin sheets of pure silver.
It is an important Indian export and Bidriware is often much prized as symbols of wealth.
