It is engraved with the issue number No. 577 on the base. \u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eIt is a high-domed egg-shaped weight with a cut-away and polished viewing window to the front. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eThe weight has no base ground and is completely clear. The glass has a pinkish \/ lilac tone to it. In the center is the shooting star, formed from a large air bubble with a purple flume on the top - it is skirted around the bottom of the inclusion with upright fingers of a dark cerise shade. Around the central inclusion, there are spinning thin ribbon trails of kingfisher blue. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is such a stunning Scottish weight. I love the shape, colours and skill in making this one. It is in good vintage condition and looks great in your collection.
