This is a charming little enamel label for a brandy flask or decanter.
It dates to the 1950s but looks back to earlier designs.
This one was made in Birmingham by Turner and Simpson and has the date letter for 1957.
It is a lovely wee label and made of white enamel on a sterling silver base - with little hand-painted decorations and title.
It is a good quality example and in good vintage condition with no cracks or issues with the enamel.
It comes with its original silver hanging chain.
It measures 3 cm across by 2.4 cm in height - the height including chain is 10 cm
I have two similar ones in my online shop - one is of a later date ( I have photographed the three in my store together for your interest).
