He has the EAN number 420245. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe was issued by the Steiff Collector's Club only for its members in 2001 and is a limited edition. He replicates an earlier bear that Steiff made back in 1950. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe was made in Germany and is handcrafted from the finest dark brown mohair. He is fully jointed, with brown glass eyes, and beige wool felt pads. He has a hand-stitched nose, mouth, and claws. He is very firm as he is stuffed with wood shavings, as used in traditional early Steiff bears. He has a cute little speaker or growler and it makes a cute growl when squeezed.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHe also has a traditional humped backed and long arms, His high cupped ears and a shorter snout give him the sweetest and most friendly of faces.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe has his original red ribbon tied as a bow on which hangs his Collector's Club medallion.   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOf course, he has his Steiff Button in his ear - with his unique edition number 00360.  So a low edition number.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe comes with his certificate of authenticity and his original box. The box is has a few dents to the side and an inscription in black pen on the top, all as photographed.  The bump to the box has been taken into consideration with my pricing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMr 1950 Bear is in pristine condition and has always been kept in his box. There is no fading to his fur, the pads are totally clean - he is fresh with no dust etc. Perfectly clean and never played with.
