After the company went into liquidation in the 1980s - it transformed into another company called United Notions Designs which made cards and items (such as my wee puzzles) for sale in gift shops.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a fine pair of highly collectable vintage puzzle games by United Notions and as such quite rare survivors.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey could be considered the precursors to Rubix cube type games - but instead of being three dimensional - these vintage puzzles are two dimensions and done on \"the flat\". \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou move the tiles around on the board to get them into a pattern or order. One features the image of a calculator - and the other an image of Concorde (in itself quite collectable. Each game was designed to fit in your pocket.
