This is an unusual vintage Norwegian pottery bowl.
It is signed Larholm / Norway and is dated 1953.
The bowl is a lovely modernistic shape, as photographed. The exterior of the bowl is an eggshell white finish. The interior is a matt black colour with an abstract pattern of applied raised white glossy lines.
It is in excellent vintage condition with no damage. It is certainly a very stylish piece of Scandinavian pottery.
Dimensions: the length is just over 10 1/2 inches. The width at the widest point is 5 1/4 inches. The foot is 3 1/4 inches in diameter. The overall height is about 5 inches.
Unpacked the bowl is 600 grams.
