I ordered a "Nice" pattern Dinner Plate and it arrived very quickly and was well packaged. It was a little bit more expensive than I normally pay, but needed one more to complete my set. Unfortunately the pattern was more scratched up than what was shown in the photograph and so I was disappointed, particularly for the price. There were more of the same plate for sale and yet I was sent one in lesser condition. Oh well.
I am sorry that you were disappointed with your order. These Meakin Nice pattern plates as you know are now getting hard to find and this is reflected in my price which I had thought was a fair one - all the more so as this was the last one and all the other ones have been sold. I did mention on the listing about the scratches to the glaze. But, I am sorry to hear your disappointment. We do offer a full no quibbles refunds service on items that customers are not 100% happy with. But I am sad that you are sad - it is not my policy to make folk unhappy and this is my first ever 2 star review in five years. I wish you had just dropped me a wee line to discuss where we fell short with you. Valerie

This unusual nutcracker is very nicely carved and in excellent condition considering its age. It is the perfect present for someone interested in German history. Expertly packaged as usual!
Received my snuff box well packaged and by 24 hour delivery. Box has excellent colour and patina; very pleased with it. Also impressed with good communication from Valerie. I won’t hesitate to but from IE again.

I ordered two large teacups in Mon Amie and they arrived quickly (even though I live a long way from Edinburgh) and in perfect condition. I liked them so much I bought another two cups and Valerie very generously refunded the second postage. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Iconic Edinburgh.

Bought a 1930/47 crystal glass which arrived quicker than scheduled. £2 refund on postage as they had found a cheaper Royal Mail method and refunded the difference direct to me. Still insured and tracked. The glass was very carefully bubbled wrapped in a box. This in turn was bubble wrapped and boxed again. Superb service and an even better vintage crystal glass in outstanding condition . Will definitely be a returning customer.

Good condition but can’t give 5 stars because the middle page had come loose and the staples had gone rusty - understandable as magazine is old! Lovely nostalgia. Pleased with the magazine.
