These are a cute little set of salt and pepper pots.
They date to 1970 and were designed for Figgjo Flint by Turi Gramstad Oliver. These items were only produced for 5 years until 1975.
They are from the Folklore series which was one of Figgjo Flint's most popular ranges. The salt and pepper pots are particularly sought after items.
Both pots are in excellent condition with no damage and have their original stoppers.
They feature a little man and woman in traditional Norwegian costume. There are inscriptions printed on the front of each figure. On the man is says “ savner du salt savner du alt” which translates as “if you miss salt you miss everything”. The woman pot reads “i mat setter pepp i en lat” which is translated as “pepper in food gives a lazy man pep”.
They are both 4 inches in height.
