This is a rare and highly collectible Celtic Swan Brooch by the celebrated Scottish silversmith, Ola Gorie. When they come on the market - they are quickly sold.
It is marked OMG and has an Edinburgh hallmark. The hallmark is so tiny that it is hard to decipher - but it must be a date letter for the 1990s.
It is a little brooch - suitable for a lapel or cap. There is also a little ring on the back so that you could thread a chain through it and use as a wee pendant which you also can pin onto a sweater.
It measures at the widest: 3 cm. It is in excellent clean condition - no damages, nice and shiny, and ready to wear.
