This is one of three of these Dutch novelty vintage chocolate moulds that I have on my online site at the moment. The other two are a little rabbit and a little chicken - so more countryside in theme.
This one is a little spaceship or rocket. It is in good condition. It is hinged and opens and closes easily. It probably dates to the 1960s - when there was a craze for all things space age or futuristic.
It has an impressed stamp for Vormenfabriek Tilburg, Holland. And the edition number: 16266 (as photographed).
Dimensions: The height is 5 1/2 inches and the width (closed) is 3 inches. The depth is 1 1/4 inches.
It is in fine vintage condition with no rust or dents. It has a little slide-on clip which holds the mould together.
