I adore this little table lamp - it would look just amazing in a boudoir or sitting room.
The lamp was made by the American company, Nuart-Frankart and I have a matching pair of bookends on offer for sale.
It is a genuine 1920s / 1930s one and in excellent condition for its age. We have rewired it for safety and we used new earthed black cloth-covered cable. The bulb holder is also a new replacement for safety.
The figure of the kneeling lady is made of spelter and has been patinated with a matt chrome silver-tone finish. The base is black marble - and with little metal dome feet, as photographed. An upstand comes from the base and sweeps around in front of the lady. There is a joint at the end - which you can swivel to change the position of the shade. The upstand of the lamp - where it meets the marble base is also moveable.
The height from the base to the top of the sweeping chrome stand is 12 1/4 inches. It is 8 1/2 inches from the upstand to the front of the shade. The marble base is 4 inches wide.
It is 2.1 kg unpacked.
The shade is made of pale pink glass - and it resembles a flower with open petals. This is in good condition with no damages. The shade is just so lovely.
It will have to be sent to you only in the UK due to the fragility of the lamp. It will be sent very, very carefully packed and sent with Parcelforce24. This will be charged at £10 and applied to your order at the checkout.
