This is a very attractive large vintage paperweight that was designed in the 1960s in Murano, Italy. I love it!
This is a genuine vintage Murano paperweight and has an old red Made In Murano / Italy label on the base, as photographed.
In lovely vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
It is a nice large size - measuring 3 inches in height - and with a diameter of 3 1/4 inches.
It is unpacked. 740 grams - so we could post it outside of the UK.
This is a stunning mid-century "scramble' Murano paperweight by Fratelli Toso. It features large slices of millefiori canes that are suspended in a sea of white ribbon latticino cane and interspersed with tutti frutti long canes that are all twisted up right through the weight. It is incredibly busy with all the inclusions - a real show-stopper of a paperweight.
A lovely weight in excellent condition, and listed at a fair price. It has a Toso "halo effect" polished pontil on the base. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
