This is a lovely vintage Scottish paperweight. It is made by Perthshire Paperweights.
It does not have a P cane - but early Perthshire weights did always have a cane in them. This is a PP1 design. It has its original paper Perthshire label on the base.
It is a little bijoux-sized paperweight about 1 3/4 inches in height and with a diameter at the widest point of just under 2 3/8 inches.
The ground is a rich dark blue or near-black colour.
It has a total of ten short spokes at the circumference in bright orange and black twists. There is a central rosette made up of pale yellow and lilac canes. There are canes in each section between the spokes - these are also pastel shades - of pink, blue and lilac very Scottish colour hues. Very attractive colours and cane placement in this one.
It is in fine vintage condition for display - no major chips or cracks or surface scratches.
