This is a vintage powder compact for standard refill size of pressed cakes of face powders.
It dates to the late 1960s.
It has never been used and is in good vintage condition - so no hygiene issues with it.
The main body is gold-tone - and the top of the lid has a transfer printed image of a blooming red rose to the left - and to the right it has a wee red rose bud.. It does not have a maker's mark to identify it - it is not a Stratton one (they tend to be heavier).
The mirror inside the lid is clean and without marks or spots on the surface.
The diameter is 7.5 cm (3 inches).
I have taken lots of images for your inspection. My asking price reflects its age and its fine condition.
