This is a fabulous vintage powder compact for loose face powders.
It dates to the late 1960s and was made by Stratton.
It has never been used and is in good condition - so no hygiene issues. The original "care" sticker is still on the mirror!
The main body is gold-tone - and the top of the lid has a dark lilac-purple ground colour. This then has a beautiful decoration of a posy of spring flowers: Yellow and White Miniature Daffodils.
The mirror inside the lid is clean and without marks or spots on the surface. Inside is a reservoir for loose powder - it has its original gauze sifter - and a lidded lid to keep the contents safe within. All as photographed. Wow! see how shiny the outside base of the compact is - never been used!
The diameter is 7.5 cm (3 inches).
I have taken lots of images for your inspection. My asking price reflects its age and its fine condition.
It will be sent to you with Royal Mail postage in the UK.
