This is an unusual piece of Scottish pottery stoneware.

It was made by Buchan Pottery, who were based at Portobello, near Edinburgh (now closed).

It is a rarer Buchan piece - a square skillet or serving dish with a handle.

The overall length is 11 ½ inches. The dish is 8 inches square. Height is 2 inches. It weighs 800 grams unpacked.

This lovely pattern is called Hebrides - this features a stylized abstract pattern of yellow and blue zigzag lines and stripes A traditionally popular pattern in the Buchan Stoneware range with a good mid-century modern feel to the design.

Postal discounts would apply for multiple orders etc.
