This is a vintage solid silver twin-handled drinking quaich.
A very nice quality, stylish Scottish silver quaich of plain round-bellied form set on a collet foot with sweeping concave hollow-cast handles.
It is in excellent vintage condition with no issues. It has no inscriptions, no dents or scratches.
It is an Edinburgh hallmark on the side for the year 1926.
It also has the marker's mark on the base: Brook & Son, 87 George Street, Edinburgh (now the address of Hamilton & Inches).
Dimensions: the diameter of the bowl is 4 inches. From the handle to the handle is 6 inches. The height is 2 inches. The weight is 135 grams.
A lovely clean example - nice simple Art Deco minimalistic shape. Nice and shiny - can be presented as a nice gift.
Fair price for this quality old Scottish quaich. It is now nearly 100 years old.
