This is one of a small selection of unused vintage tea towels or bar cloths that I have owned for a number of years. They were all packed away in a wee box - so have just decided to add to my shop stock.
This one is made from a lighter weave Irish Linen as annotated.
It is in pristine condition.
The colours are rich and bright. The images are all very stylized ones from the 1960s - and show episodes from the Christmas ditty - The Twelve Days of Christmas - featuring all the characters in this image - and ending with the Partridge in a Pear Tree. I just love them - going to use this for all of the images for Christmas greetings messages etc this year.
This is just such a fabulous design.
It is in excellent vintage condition - perfectly clean and never used.
It has been folded away and stored for years.
It would look great it pressed completely flat with your iron - and perhaps framed for display or stretched onto a wooden canvas frame which you could bring out at Christmas - or to keep and pop on a tray as a decorative small table cloth.
Nice large size measuring 46 x 74 cm
These have been priced to reflect the rarity of each item and the interest subject matter. Many of these have been ruined through use of the years,, or shabby condition - or long gone out in the bin!
