This is a fantastic vintage Danish silver brooch by Georg Jensen - it was originally designed by Henning Koppel in the 1940s.
The design number is No. 321 and probably dates to the 1960s.
The brooch is known as 'Splash' with its openwork design and looped organic shape.
This is a fine example and in excellent vintage condition, as you can see in my photographs.
It has a nice shine and no disfiguring scratching to the surface. All the details are crisp with no signs of wear.
It has a sharp pin on the reverse which is in good condition and closes with a locking closed-loop fitting.
It is fully marked with the usual Jensen marks on the reverse. Hallmarked GEORGE JENSEN in a dotted oval / Sterling / DENMARK / 321.
These amorphic pieces by Koppel are highly collectable - and my piece is on offer at a fair price.
