This is a lovely vintage German vase - made by the Schramberg pottery factory in Germany.
It is a large example with the stylised Windsor pattern.
The height of the vase is 10 1/4 inches - and at its widest has a diameter of about 7 1/4 inches - so a nice attractive bulbous shape.
The main body colour of the vase is a blue / slate grey tone - and it has an abstract, atomic mid-century pattern all around - the decoration is incised into the main body colour and features undulating lines from top to bottom.
It has been difficult to photograph the vase, as the glaze is very shiny. The glaze has resulted in a bit of reflection in my images. The colour of the vase is also slightly lighter than suggested in my photos.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or damages.
This vase will look great in a Scandinavian-inspired interior - on a teak or rosewood bureau or bookcase.
These larger pieces of Schramberg pottery are hard to find in the UK. The Windsor Pattern in this shape is quite rare.
My price reflects the larger size of this attractive mid-century vase.
