This is a lovely vintage German vase - made by the Schramberg pottery factory in Germany.
It is a very large example with the stylised Windsor pattern.
The height of the vase is 10 1/4 inches - and at its widest has a diamter of about 7 1/4 inches - so a nice attractive bulbous shape.
The main body colour of the vase is a blue / slate grey tone - and it has an abstract, atomic mid-century pattern all around - the decoration is incised into the main body colour and features undulating lines from top to bottom.
It has been a bit difficult to photograph as the overglaze on the vase is very glossy and shiny - so this was giving a bit of reflections in my images - the colour of the vase is also slightly lighter than in my photos.
It is unusual to find a piece in this pattern at this larger size.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or damages.
Will look great in a Scandinavian inspired interior - on a teak or rosewood bureau or bookcase.
Pieces of large Schramberg pottery are hard to find in the UK.
My price reflects the larger size of this very attractive vase.
Postage is quote here to UK delivery with Collect Plus - signed and tracked. It is a little more expensive than usual due to the size of the pot - and having to pack in a much larger sturdy box for you.
