These are completely adorable little porcelain ashtrays or miniature dishes made by the Chodziez Factory in Poland.
They date to the late 1950s or 1960s and are from their New Look range of modern ceramics.
There were only four made in this set - as they are designed for a group of four Bridge players.
All are quite delicate made in fine porcelain.
They are all in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Each piece is decorated with the symbols representing the suits in a pack of playing cards.
They were originally designed as an ashtray for your Bridge players - but are so pretty with no evidence of them ever having been used that they could be used simply as table decorations of with little nibbles on them.
Very pretty and more unusual set, especially in such lovely condition.
Each little dish has a diameter of just over 3 1/2 inches.
I have also a matching set of little teacups and saucers listed in my Iconic Edinburgh online store - combined discounts would apply on the postage.
