This is a nice little set of vintage porcelain Wade Zoo Whimtrays.
These miniature dishes are early or 1st issues - which were originally produced between 1958 and 1965. These are pretty little round "pintrays" that have a small raised ledge at the back - onto which is applied a little original Whimsie figure - and they were then named Whimtrays.
These 1950s / 1960s issues all have a moulded mark on the base which reads: Whimtrays / Wade Porcelain / Made in England.
Of offer here is a set of five little Whimsie trays - they feature two with black trays (a Bactrian Camel and Llama or Goat on a road); two with sky blue bases (a lion cub and panda) and finally a yellow dish with a little boxer dog on it.
All are in good vintage condition with no damages.
They are all the same size at 3 inches in diameter.
