Mdina Glass was founded by ex-Royal College of Art glass tutor, Michael Harris, on Malta in 1968.
This is a more unusual piece of Mdina - made from hand-blown red glass. It is in the shape of a chunky tubular vase. It has a profusion of blue trailed glass threads on the exterior, as photographed.
It is rather a stunning piece. It is marked Mdina on the base.
It is in lovely condition with no chips or cracks - and no losses to the trail work.
It is a tall and slender size. It is 8 inches in height and the base is 3 1/8 inches in diameter. Unpacked it is 900 grams in weight.
I also have another red Mdina bottle vase on offer - this is shown in my photographs beside this one.
It will be sent in the UK with Royal Mail Recorded Post. This will be applied to your order.
