This is an interesting 1930s Art Deco Footed Glass bowl.
It is signed near the central foot area: H. Jager - which is for the German glass designer, Hans Jager. He worked for Anchor (Ankerglas) Glass.
The bowl is made of very pale grey moulded glass - it has a frosted band on the central base section decorated with a frieze of long-legged greyhound dogs - racing and playing. They are very delicately portrayed - I have taken close-ups and hope that they give a good impression of the quality of the decoration.
The bowl has a small applied foot on the base. The band with the greyhounds on it is slightly frosted in the finish. The muted colour of the glass and pressed decorations are very typical of Jager's work.
1930s works by Jager are hard to find and they don't come on the market so often.
This greyhound bowl has been difficult to photograph - and I would imagine that on display it might look best on a dark wooden stand with a darker colour behind and lit up - so that you can see all the details.
The diameter is 10 1/2 inches (26.5 cm). The foot diameter is just over 4 inches. The height of the foot is 3 /4 inches. The overall height is 2 3/4 inches.
The postage will have to be with Parcelforce48 - this will probably be around £10 and applied at check out.
