These old 1950s / early 1960s coat hooks or racks are now getting hard to find - especially in such a nice condition and this model with its attractive curve.
This one is made of a thick black-painted wire (original paintwork) and with hooks for hanging your coats and hats on taking the form of musical notes (crotchets). These are made of solid bright colour plastic - the notes can be swiveled and laid flat when there are no coats on them - or twisted out to hang things on.
Would also look great as a display item with lots of different coloured drawstring bags hanging from it - in a living room or hallway.
The whole rack is easy to put on your wall - just screw it into your wall through the holes on the corners. You might wish to have a raw plug in the wall it is it now solid to take the weight of the coats etc.
Lovely genuine vintage piece.
It measures 70cm long x 28cm high.
