This is a stylish piece of vintage Scandinavian glass - designed by Benny Motzfeldt (1909 - 1995) for Plus Glass Norway.
Benny Anette Motzfeldt was a Norwegian glass designer and sculptor. Her works are represented in museums in Norway, at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, in Copenhagen and in Stockholm.
In 1970 she became the artistic leader at the PLUS glass workshop, Frederikstad Norway.
This is a stylish design with a simple minimalistic bottle shape. The interior is an ice-white colour with random specklings of emerald green (as photographed). The white core is cased in a thick layer of clear glass - and this is evident on the base which has about an inch of clear glass.
It is 10 inches in height - and has a diameter of 4 inches. It is about 1.5 kg in weight.
It is marked to the base: PLUS / BM / NORWAY. In excellent condition with no damages. A nice stylish piece of designer Norwegian studio glass - at a fair price for this one-off piece.
