This is a rare commemorative tin which dates to the 1930s.
It was made to celebrate the Silver Wedding of King George V and Queen Mary.
The design is very Art Deco in feel - on the front of the tin there is a photographic image of the Royal Couple - which appears above a stylish abstract design.
The back has an image of a vintage tea packet for Lyons Tea - so I suspect that this is probably a vintage tin for storing your tea leaves in.
It is in fairly nice condition - with a few expected (but minor) scuffs here and there - but no rusting or dents.
The tin measures 7 inches in height - and is 4 inches across with a depth of 3 inches.
It is a harder tin to find - and it is listed at a fair print.
