I have three pieces of Pip, Squeak and Wilfred items available.
These items consist of this side plate, a saucer, and a little child's mug.
This side plate is an extremely rare piece of Royal Doulton Commemorative Ware made in 1927 for the Daily Mirror. The pattern is taken from the Mirror’s comic strip featuring Pip, Squeak and Wilfred - and was issued from 1927 - 1935.
The images on my ceramics feature Pip the dog, Squeak the penguin and Wilfred the Rabbit. The comic strip was created by Uncle Dick (B.J. Lamp) and the illustrations were drawn by A.B. Payne.
My side plate is in excellent condition with no issues or any kind.
My asking price is certainly a fair one for this very collectable item.
