This a sweet little item - it is a cream-coloured honeypot is in the form of a round beehive. It has been made by Crown Devon - see my other square ones. This round one is harder to source.
This pot takes the form of an old fashioned woven straw beehive or skep and it is embellished with little hand-painted bees. There is a large sculptural honey bee on the lid. It is the larger of the two sizes of this design made by Crown Devon. There is a printed mark on the base. My price reflects its excellent condition and larger size.
The honeypot is 5 inches in height and has the angled base has a diameter of 4 inches. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The interior is nice and clean.
A pretty vintage lidded pot that looks great on display, and is also a functional piece of tableware. I have a few other vintage honey pots listed on my side. Postal discounts would apply.
