This is a fabulous piece of vintage Mdina glass.
These early 1970s glass bottle vases are now so much harder to find - especially in this fine condition and in the most attractive blue colour.
It is very scultpural and is certainly a tall example coming in at 14 inches in total height.
It was probably designed by Michael Harris when he first moved to Malta in the 1970s - and obviously, you would have needed a skilled glass blower to make a work of this size and quality.
It is signed Mdina to the base (Harris did not always sign his glasswares).
This one is a tortoiseshell pattern - which has been coated with thin layers of lustre glass and little flecks of greens and yellow - and silvery trail runs all around the bottle.
This fine bottle vase is listed at a very fair price. Due to its size and weight - it would have to be sent to you in the UK with Royal Mail Tracked (Medium Size) parcel. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
