This is a lovely large Poole charger that was part of a series of 12 designs by Tony Morris. The series is called Medieval Calendar and each plate depicts all the activities taking place in the British countryside in times long past.
This is a very large and substantial piece of vintage Poole pottery. It measures 32.5 cm in diameter (just under 13 inches).
The plate depicts the month of JUNE and shows two works in the field chopping down wheat - they have scythes. The decoration of each plate is meant to resemble medieval stained glass roundels.
A fine plate in excellent condition with no damages. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
It would be sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked (Medium Parcel). This would be applied to your order at the checkout.
