This is one of two impressions that I have had of this lovely print by a leading Scottish lady artist. I have already sold one last year - so only this one left.
This is a fine original hand-coloured lithograph, dating to 1987.
It was made by the Scottish artist, Pat Douthwaite (1939 - 2002).
This is one of my favourite lithographs by her - and it is titled Apple Kabuki - as can be seen in the lozenge behind the figure. It is also boldly and quite prominently signed at the top of the sheet - as part of the image.
The lithograph shows a strange figure dressed in a large pointed hat - a strange little bird-like creature runs down her arm.
The image has been printed in black ink - and has had touches of watercolour added by the artist to enliven selected parts of the image, such as the girl's hat, the title lozenge, and part of her signature.
It is from a small edition, and probably not much more than 20 impressions were ever taken.
It is being sold unframed.
The print has been printed on heavy Arches paper - and this measures about 77 x 57 cm.
UK Postage will be capped at £12.50 for next-day special delivery post with the Royal Mail - this will be applied to your order at the checkout.
