These are very rare little vintage guidebooks. They are little pocket guides to popular tourist sites in New York.
Each little guide dates to 1963 - so each is now 60 years old. It is remarkable that they have survived in such a fine condition.
They were published by Go Guides, Inc. Pocket Books, New York.
Each little guide is soft-backed - and measures 5 1/2 inches x 3 inches with just over 60 pages. These little booklets do not come up for sale very often - and are much sought after.
We have 1/ Wall Street: which discusses and illustrates some of the most important buildings in the area. 2/ Statue of Liberty which discusses the area etc 3/ The United Nations Building 4/ Broadway and Times Square - probably the best one - as it features a list of top restaurants, a Yiddish glossary, and menu translators.
I am pricing these at £20 each - as they are now so rare and you hardly ever find them anymore. It gives you a great history of some of New York's most celebrated sites in the early 60s. They are probably items for the more specialist collector of New York historical items.
UK Postage will be £2.95 and applied to your order at the checkout. Postage to the States as a large letter (well packed and tracked) would be £12.50
