This is a fine large decorative watercolour painting by the Scottish contemporary artist James Campbell Brady. It dates to the early 1990s when Brady was possibly studying at Glasgow School of Art.
Sadly, not much is known about the artist, but his work is certainly very competent and attractive. This unusual work will certainly look fabulous hanging in a modern interior.
It is titled and signed by the artist in pencil along the bottom margin.
The work had previously featured in a selling exhibition at the Gallery of the late William Hardie in Glasgow. It had a price tag of £1000 on it and remained in the collection of Mr Hardie until his death in 2021.
It looks to earlier Russian Constructive works for inspiration - particularly the works of El Lissitzky (1890 - 1941)
The picture is beautifully presented and ready to hang on your wall.
