This is a fabulous vintage set of fish plates and a massive serving platter.
They were made by Shorter & Son and date to the 1930s. They are great for Christmas cocktail parties or formal dining where you are serving little fishy nibbles or canapes.
This serving plate is one of the largest sizes of Shorter pottery fish plates, and measures some 14 1/2 inches in length - with a height of about 11 inches... yowzah!
The smaller plates are 9 1/2 inches long - by 8 1/2 inches wide.
I love the lovely Art Deco straw yellow colour and the matt glaze on this set.
All are in lovely condition with no chips, cracks or damages.
The set's weight unpacked is 3.1 kg.
