This is an adorable little British ceramic figurine of a little dog or puppy that dates to the 1930s.
It was made by Crown Devon - who took their inspiration from humourous cartoons by George Studdy that looked at the antics of Bonzo the Dog. The character proved very popular and it saw the creation of lots of merchandise such as books, toys and figurative models.
This figure shows him as a nervous and chubby little puppy - he looks anxiously up towards his owner - and his little pink tongue is sticking out.
He is in perfect condition - and is about 5 inches in height.
