These old Cornishware storage jars always look great on display in your kitchen.
This one is more unusual in that it is a tall cylinder shape with a fitted lid. My canister has an overall height of 5 1/2 inches and with a diameter of 3 3/4 inches. It is marked on the base with a black shield mark which dates it to the 1930s - 1950s.
The word TAPIOCA is under the glaze and with the sans serif lettering. The combination of this shape and the lettering make this a harder to find piece of Cornishware. This is reflected in my asking price.
In excellent vintage condition - with no stains, nasty chips or cracks. The glaze is without crazing and remains lovely and shiny. In remarkable condition given its age. There is a little (old, possibly occuring in the making) loss to the bottom of the letter O.
