This is a pretty square-to-round "Ankara" vase-shaped vase.
The pattern has been designed by Charlotte Rhead for Crown Ducal.
The vase has an egg-shell finish cream-coloured glaze - which is decorated with an abstract pattern of pink and purple abstract flowers - which have touches of gold to embellish areas. There is also a fine band of gold gilt around the rim.
The pattern is called: Oyster. It is a lovely understated piece by Charlotte Rhead.
It has an early A.G.R Crown Ducal mark on the base, as photographed.
And the impressed shape number 290. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Dimensions: Height is 7 inches. The diameter at the top is 4 1/2 inches and at the base, it is 3 3/4 inches. Unpacked it is 700 grams.
