This is an adorable little vintage side plate that was designed by Meakin Pottery.
The Meaking design is similar to the more iconic "Parisienne" design made by Ridgways about the same time - so a little bit of design cross-over going on here.
This plate is a small side plate size with a diameter of 6 3/4 inches.
It shows a street scene in Paris - and comes complete with an outdoor cafe, a lady walking her dog, a little black poodle.
It is in excellent condition with no damage. A great display plate or fabulous for serving wee petit fours at high teas.
