This is a nice piece of vintage British Whitefriars Glass - a fine display piece for a stylish mid-century interior.
It has a more unusual golden amber colour.
A fine large piece - it is 8 inches in height; and has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches.
The vase is reminiscent of a bucket and has a very subtle vertical stripe or ribbon decoration to the glass all around.
The ripples are not as prominent as in my other similar vase in my shop - so my price is reduced on this one to reflect this.
This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks - and little signs of wear which you would expect on a piece of glass of this age - indicating that it has been moved about for some decades.
It weighs in at 1 kg grams.
It was rather difficult to photograph - so hope that my images have done this fine piece of glass justice!
