This is a pretty piece of vintage hand-blown Scottish art glass. It dates to around the 1950s.
It has a little polished pontil that you find on pieces of Monart glass - but this is a piece of later Vasart glass - with an etched signature on the base.
It is certainly a pretty vase with quite subtle, pale pastel shades of lilac and purples.
The base colour is a warm blue=grey shade - from which issues all around pretty purple, lilac, and pink coloured swirls, as photographed.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Nice larger size measuring 7 1/2 inches in height. The vase flares out towards the rim.
The rim at the top measures 8 inches. The diameter of the base is 3 1/2 inches.
