This is a fabulous piece of genuine Monart Glass from the 1920s / 1930s.
It is a very large bulbous piece - and the more unusual colours and the amount of gold aventurine flecks in the top section are just so pretty.
The colours are a mottled pale sugar pink / lilac to the base - this travels up the main body of the vase and turns into a dusky pink and then purple with more flecks of this shade to the rim. The transition is very subtle.
It dates to around the 1930s. It has the typical raised Monart polished pontil mark on the base, as photographed. Sadly the original paper label is no longer present. These were often washed off the base area over the decades.
It is certainly an adorable vase - and the pink shades are quite appealing with the purple and gold additions. It measures 7 inches in height and at the widest point, it is 6 inches.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
