This is a lovely piece of vintage glass - probably dating to around the 1960s, possibly earlier.
It is a nice globe shape and it is a heavy piece - weighting in at 1.1 kg. It is hand-blown and consists of a thick layer of sugar pink and white glass - cased in a thick layer of clear glass.
I am not sure of the maker - but it is similar to Gray-Stan or Nazeing Glass. It is not signed and has no paper label to help me identify it. It has pontil mark to the base - as photographed.
It is 6 inches in height and with a diameter of 6 3/4 inches at its widest.
